On Oct 13th Deputy Mings stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation just west of Mountain Grove on Business 60. He contacted the driver who was identified as Leonard Martin 57 years old from Marshfield.
Deputy Mings noticed Martin was shaking and wouldn’t look at him. He requested Mountain Police K9 Officer Page to come to his location. The K9 alerted on the vehicle. A search of the vehicle revealed app 24.89 grams of meth, Rolling papers, Marijuana, Several different kinds of Pills, Plastic baggies and $933.00 cash. All items were seized.
Martin was charged with the following charges
4 Counts of Delivery of Controlled Substance Except 35 grams or less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid a Class C Felony
Delivery of Controlled Substance Except 35 grams or less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid a Class D Felony
2 Counts of Possession of Controlled Substance Except 35 grams or less of Marijuana or Synthetic Cannabinoid a Class D Felony
Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
Bond set at $5000 cash.
