A former Wright County jailer is facing 17 felony counts involving corruption by a public servant.
David C. Lamson, 28, of Mountain Grove, who was employed as a jailer part time for the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, is being held on $85,000 cash-only bond.
Lamson faces 14 class D felony charges of acceding to corruption by a public servant and three felony charges of sexual contact with a prisoner back in 2011. The case was turned over the investigators with the Attorney General’s Office.
Lamson is housed in the Ozark County Jail. A Wright County Grand Jury handed down the incitements. The case will be prosecuted by the Missouri Attorney General’s Office.
